Love, Joy, Peace...
Our Campus

The campus of St. Matthew United Methodist Church has varying degrees of accessibility. There are two ramps from the back (west) parking lot to the sidewalk around the buildings; the accessible parking spaces in the front (east) drive and in the back (west) parking lot (next to the B building) are at the same level as the adjoining sidewalk. The sidewalks and the buildings themselves are all on a single level, with the exceptions of the stage in the Activity Center, and the top two rows of the choir loft and the chancel area in the Worship Center.
Our Worship Center (also called the “Sanctuary” or “A” building) was consecrated in 1986 and is used for worship services, weddings, memorial services, and some meetings. It includes a small chapel which doubles as a crying room. FM Williams sound receivers are available during all activities in this building.
Our Music and Education building (“Adult Education” or “B” building) was completed in 1986 and contains offices, a small meeting room, and the choir room.
Our uncarpeted Activity Center (“Fellowship Hall” or “C” building) is the original church building and was used for services when it was completed in 1977. It includes a large open meeting room and the church kitchen, which are used for meetings and receptions, a few smaller meeting rooms, and the church office.
Our Youth Education building (“D” building) includes the youth room and smaller meeting rooms.
The patios/courtyard between the C and D buildings include a large paved area, a table, and a small fountain surrounded by benches. These are in direct sunlight during the day.

The St. Matthew rose garden has been a neighborhood fixture for over forty years and is the traditional background for pictures of the youth Confirmation class. The rose garden and the flowers on the patios are maintained by church members to share God’s joy and color with the community.
Under certain circumstances, church facilities may be used by outside groups.  Please contact the church office for more information.
