Holy Week and Easter
For so many of us, our world is so confusing right now that we are feeling lost. Our world, our mess, needs the good news of Jesus and the God of love.
Throughout Lent, we have been focusing on what was central to Jesus’ life and ministry: radical welcome, love for neighbor, care for the vulnerable, nourishment for the hungry, nonviolence in the face of injustice. At the heart of Jesus’ teachings, we find liberation, love, mercy, and grace—all of which are very good news for us all.
During Holy Week, we continue our quest. Can we live up to Jesus’ teachings? Can we be “good news” people in a world too often burdened by bad news? Join us as we seek to answer those question with a resounding, “YES!”
Sunday, March 29 Palm Sunday

Our worship service will include a traditional parade of palms as we remember Jesus’ entrance into Jerusalem, along with prayers, scripture, special music with choir and handbells and a message “Inspiring Us to Act.” The service will turn toward the passion of Jesus as we begin Holy Week.

11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. Good Friday Meditation Walk – Sanctuary & Courtyard
Using the artwork Revealed Through Nonviolence, this meditation will lead us through the last night and day of Jesus’ last supper and the Passion.
